Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Bright Vision Center a proud provider of vision care products and services in Cary.

Dr. Ortiz

Dr. Ortiz received his undergraduate degree from University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez campus in 2001. Dr. Ortiz, fluent in Spanish, received his doctor of  optometry degree from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, School of  Optometry in 2006. He then completed a post-doctorate residency program in Primary Care Optometry in IAUPR School of Optometry, where he enhanced his clinical knowledge of pre- and post-surgical management, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy as well as anterior segment diseases like dry eye syndrome and allergic conjunctivitis, among others. He is licensed to practice optometry at Georgia, Puerto Rico and North Carolina.  Dr. Ortiz is currently part of the ARMY RESERVES, where he provides primary eye care to our soldiers. In his free time Dr. Ortiz enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and three daughters.
